Is the JDM Exist LT4000 cheaper than the US EXIGLT4000D?
It depends on the exchange rate. The official list prices are ¥107,000 for the Japanese LT4000 (before consumption tax) and $999.99 for the US EXIGLT4000D (US MSRP). We do not convert currencies. Dividing one by the other, the Japanese list price is the lower number when one US dollar buys more than ¥107. These are not the same size code, so the prices are not for the same reel.

The Japanese figure excludes Japan's consumption tax (the page says so); the US page shows its price without mentioning tax. Shipping, import duties and shop prices are not included. Line capacity is not compared value by value: Japan rates PE line in gō (号) × metres, while the US table uses lb test × yards for a named braid, and the two cannot be converted exactly.
