Is the JDM Certate LT5000D-XH cheaper than the US CERTLTG5000D-XH-A?
It depends on the exchange rate. The official list prices are ¥61,600 for the Japanese LT5000D-XH (before consumption tax) and $699.99 for the US CERTLTG5000D-XH-A (US MSRP). We do not convert currencies. Dividing one by the other, the Japanese list price is the lower number when one US dollar buys more than ¥88. Line capacity is not compared value by value: Japan rates PE line in gō (号) × metres, while the US table uses lb test × yards for a named braid, and the two cannot be converted exactly.
