Is the JDM Stradic 2500SHG cheaper than the US ST2500HGFM?
It depends on the exchange rate. The official list prices are ¥28,300 for the Japanese 2500SHG (before consumption tax) and $254.99 for the US ST2500HGFM (US MSRP). We do not convert currencies. Dividing one by the other, the Japanese list price is the lower number when one US dollar buys more than ¥111. These are not the same size code, so the prices are not for the same reel.

Line capacity is not compared value by value: Japan rates PE line in gō (号) × metres, while the US table uses lb test × yards for a named braid, and the two cannot be converted exactly.
